Concrete Column - Beam Connection

That is the situation I am dealing with. Both columns have their respective axial loads and the slab / column connection has shear & moment transferring into the columns. My question is. The center to center offset of these two columns is 225mm, simply multiplying that distance by the axial load from the column above gives me a moment of 6300 kN - m to add to bottom column load of 32,000 kN. These columns are roughly 1m^2, but I am having issues with reinforcing this column with such a high moment.

Am I doing this wrong?

The above diagram is supposed to show the columns from above and below offset from eachother by 225mm
 
Depending on your structural system and layout, it may be possible to resist the 6,300 kN.m eccentric moment via a "couple" between the floor levels, i.e. a push and pull from floor above and below measured over the floor to floor height. This reduces the moment transferred into the column by axial load eccentricity. Just have to make the statics work for your situation.
 
The moment generated by the eccentricity is distributed into the elements based on the relative stiffness of the connected elements.
 
Which way is the upper column offset? Left or right on your diagram?
