Concrete Column Interaction Diagrams

G'day,

I am hoping some one can help me. I would like to create or obtain a spread sheet for drawing reinforce concrete column interaction diagrams in Excel.

I have created a rough version, but cannot work out how to get the graphing function to draw a best fit line graph/curve for my data, as the line must curve back after reaching its peak value of Mu. (Nu in Y direction and Mu in x direction).

I intend to use the spreadsheet as a part of tilt panel design from time to time (hence the need for the ability to design for single face or centrally located reinforcement in the columns). This makes the lower capacities fairly important to graph accurately.

Get the program, xlxtrfun.xll. It will do curve fitting , interpolation and many other useful functions.

The program XLXTRFUN.XLL © is one you must add to your collection of very useful tools. It provides many useful functions Excel leaves out including; interpolation, extrapolation, curve fitting, calculation of polynomials which fit a given curve, differentiation, and more.
