Hallo

which minimum thickness should be provided by jacketing of RC columns?

Do you still need to provide a bounding compound between the old and the new concrete?

Why are you "jacketing" concrete columns? What is the problem?

As to bonding compound, I can't imagine how that would work. After applying the compound, the time elapsed to place the formwork would allow the compound to harden, thus resulting in a debonding layer rather than what you desired.

why jacketing? because we have simillar problems to this one here

and it seams to me that jacketing would be the cheapest and easiest fixing

so the bonding compounds must be applied imediatly befor the casting?

can a jackteting be also executen on only two sides? Or must it go around the entire column. for example like on this photo here

I hope you're removing the deteriorated concrete before placing the jacket.

Weld-Crete can be applied up to 10 days in advance, as a bonding agent if it's necessary.

of course all the broken away concrete will need to be removed

Based on that photo, that doesn't look like a concrete column. More like some type of adobe construction. I don't see how jacketing or bonding will help this situation, as you would just be concealing a problem.
