Concrete expansion joint in between base plate

Due to a mistake, a base plate (with post-installed anchors) is placed on a concrete expansion joint (the expansion joint is exactly crossed the base plate). I want to check if the anchors are still fulfilled. I think I need to assume the expansion joint as the edge of the concrete and calculate based on that assumption.

My question is that what other consideration should be taken into account?

Is it allowed to have an expansion joint under the base plate?

Is making the holes for anchors as slutted holes help the base plate to have better behavior in this situation?

Thank you

- Probably shifting the base plate so all the post-installed anchors are on the same side of EJ is better ..

- I did not see , hear so EJ clashes with the base plate..

Bad idea... re-work the expansion joint to accommodate a full column bearing.

Rather than think climate change and the corona virus as science, think of it as the wrath of God. Feel any better?

Whats the purpose of the base plate?

If its to support minor stuff like a 3" pipe or cable tray close to grade, maybe. Slot two of the holes in the base plate, so the plate doesnt restrain the slab.

For substancial loads no. If the slab tries to exspand or contract, it will try shear the anchors. Not aure how you would quantify rhat force.

Thank you for your answers. The base plate is for a mezzanine with a relatively high load (The column pressure is about 110 kN). Since all the members are produced based on their certain length it was really hard to move the column layout. But shifting the column position seems the only way to do it!!!
