Hi everyone,
I am dealing with a problem where I have to provide a wall opening with a concrete frame. The structure is a warehouse and the opening is in outerwall. The wall is a precast concrete wall. The load to be considered are the dead load from the upper wall and the wind load. I also need to connect the frame with the existing wall on the vertical part of the frame. So, what verification do I need to make and specially for the connection. The ends of the frame will be fixed. If anyone can suggest me, that would be great

So you plan to use a concrete reinforcing frame to reinforce and opening made in precast wall panel system? This is usually done with steel reinforcing.

Posting some sketches of your proposal will go a low way towards netting helpful answers.

Is this a tilt up wall that's part of the load bearing system, or a precast panel system where it's mostly wind cladding? How tall is it? Where does your door fall in relation to the panel joints? How are the panels fastened to each other? What does your foundation system look like for support at the bottom?
