Any engineers here practicing in wet rainy climates?

I have designed precast exterior panels that have big teeth on the front, with an airseal at the interior, that make everyone happy.

Now i find myself working on projects lately that involve exterior concrete walls, acting as structural shearwalls, with the building enclosure engineers pushing for pressure equalized drained and ventilated joints on the exterior face.

Its a detail that is giving me a hard time. Of course no architect will accept making the wall thicker so both the structural and waterproofing engineer are happy.

wondering if anybody has any magic details they would be willing to put forward?
