Dear sir,

I want to replace Bison ACSR conductor with ACCR (Aluminium conductor composite reinforced) so that the conductor current rating is doubled. But I am unsure about its other aspects like wind and ice loading. I hope that sb has answer for this.

What does the manufacturer of the ACCR provide in the way of specifications?

You may find yourself limited by the On Load Tap Changers ability to compensate for the reactive component of the voltage drop at the higher current.
