There are many different options when purchasing power cables. Most often, it is mind boggling to choose the appropriate cable for the application as there as many different fills, materials used for insulation and shielding types. For instance, when to get a 5kV, 3 conductor cable in "mold cured thermosetting CPE jacket" or PVC jacket? Or for another project, shall I need RW, TW, RHH, RHW-2, tinned copper braid, aluminum polyester tape, etc, etc, etc.... ?
Does anyone have a link (or links) to websites and pdfs that offer good explanations and discussions on the pro/con of different types that I can keep for reference? I would find it extremely handy to have as I am always faced with the challenge of picking an appropriate cable out of all the options available.
I Google and found details, but sometimes I find members here post useful links to very valuable info that I print off and catalogue in my reference library.

Thanks
