Configuration question 1

Hello all,
I have made a serial number tag with extrudted text that we apply to each machine. The serial numbers are in numbered order, 001, 002, etc. Can I make 100 configurations with each having the next number without having to make 100 different sketches?

I have not tried it, but maybe with a design table?

In SW2010 Sketch Text can be linked to a parts property.

Once the link has been made, and the DT created, all the serial numbers can be created by simply dragging the controlling cell.
