Confinement of existing concrete column joints

I'm looking at seismic upgrade of project where the beam column joint has NO column ties through the length of the joint. Does anyone have experience in how to strengthen a beam/column joint with post-installed anchors to icrease joint shear capacity? Does ACE 440.2R (externally bonded RFP systems) by chance have a section on this.
