Confirmation of XP Operating System for Project 2002

Could anyone answer this? I currently have the Home Edition of the XP operating system on my Dell Inspiron 8100 laptop, with 512 meg of RAM. I've read that one of the requirements of using Project 2002 is that I use the Professional version of XP. Is this really necessary? Or can I successfully use Project 2002 with my Home version of XP? Sort of.. This is MS's list of supported OS's:

Windows 98, Windows 98 Second Edition, Windows Millennium Edition (Windows Me), Microsoft Windows NT® version 4.0 with Service Pack 6 (SP6) or later, Windows 2000 Professional, or Windows XP Professional

XP home is missing, but since it runs on pretty much everything else, I'd be hard pressed to think that XP home is excluded. Proj2000 runs fine on XP home
