Hi all,
I'm really looking forward to deeply understand cone length, cone height and half-apex angle.
From my study I found out that cone length is the length along the conical section itself and cone height is the height of the cone between the smaller diameter of the cylinder and the larger diameter of the cylinder. Are my understanding correct? If not please elaborate to me what is the difference between these two and method of determine them.
Second thing is the half-apex angle, I'm not quite familiar with these. For example the drawing stated 10 degree angle then when I model it in PV Elite the angle is way off more than 30 degrees as mentioned inside ASME.
Please help me understand this terms and any useful links for me to really understand.
Thank you.
