connecting a moving body with another body

Hello everyone,

I am wondering about the best way to connect a moving wheel set (and an axle) with the a car frame through suspension. I have tried different techniques however, all my trials ended up by having the wheel set moving leaving behind the car frame even through i have connected them using spring /dashpot connection. Can some one help me with this, I have been trying for weeks now.

Assuming you have restricted nodal degrees of freedom of the springs/dashpots appropriately and your coefficients are correct, they should work. What error/warning messages are you receiving in .dat/.msg files?
