connectins Siemens S5 to a microcontroller...

Hello,

I have new hobbyist project in hands that is to connect a Siemens S5-95U PLC via its serial interface to a microcontroller in order to build a message display for it. However, I don't have any relevant information about the functioning of its interface. :\

Can someone give me some info about this or maybe some websites where to find information on how to do this?
