I have some external precast panels that go to the roof level in a two storey warehouse. First floor is concrete deck. To avoid eccentric loads on the external panels and lead to 'oversized' panels (I am using 150mm thickness) from the concrete slab. I want these external panels not to be supports for the suspended slab (i.e. design the slab with some cantilever span) while the slab should provide the lateral restraint for panel under lateral loads. What the connections should be like? Has everyone done this before? thank you.
