I am doing AC Hi pot test , the euipment i am using is Baur.for the AC Hi pot test of three cables (Motor cables) should i connect all the cables together and apply hi voltage or should i connect one cable for highvoltage & the remaining cables to ground. i dont have standards with me but the test we are doing is as per standard cenelec HD 620,621 , VDE DIN 0276-620, 621.
But whatever may be the standard the connections procedure will be same.

If you want to test the integrity of the cables(conductors) to ground only, you may connect the three cables(conductors) together. If you wish to check the insulation of the cables(conductors) to ground AND to each other, test one cable(conductors) at a time with the other cables(conductors) grounded.
