I have been trying to make the following work on and off but have not made any significant headway. Any help would be much appreciated.
I would like to scale the non-linear elastic (force vs. disp.) behavior of a chained set of connector elements until some condition (say, a certain level of stress/strain in a neighboring structure) is met. Now, if I apply a displacement to one end of the connector of, say 5 units, then I want the displacement values in the table with the non-linear elastic behavior (that is present in the INP) to go up to 5. Also, I want the force values to be scaled by an array that goes from 0 to 1.
Bottomline:
1) Can I scale both the force and displacement values? If so, how? [A script?]
2) How do I look for some condition? [Sensor/UAMP?]
3) Alternatively, can I replace the force and displacement values in the non-linear elastic behavior based on some condition in a loop?
If you have previously worked on this, a very simple INP with one connector would be a huge help!
