Connector overlapping in Visio 1

I am having trouble getting a connector to show that it goes through one connector(no joined in any way) and connects to another line. I want a loop to appear on the connector which i am not joined to(to show that it is not joined). I know this shoudl be an easy fix but nothing i try will give the desired results. I know I may not be explaining this in the best way but hopefully with the diagram and this explanation someone will know what i am trying to accomplish here and be able to assist. Any guidance here at all would be hugely appreciated.

Select the connector whose line jump style you want to set.

On the Format menu, click Behavior.
Click the Connector tab, and under Line jumps, select the options that you want.

Tip To set the default line jump style for connectors on the page, on the File menu, click Page Setup, click the Layout and Routing tab, and in the Line jump style list, click the way that you want the line jumps to look.

Thanks alot for the quick response. I had tried doing that many times but to no avail so i figured I was doing something wrong. Your comment, which confirmed the method for doing this, made me look harder into why it wasnt working and i determined that i was using a regular line rather than a connector which I guess doesnt allow for jumps. Thanks again, this had me stumped all morning.
