i have a quick question, which i searched within the web and cannot find.
i am using ansys v10 multiphysics to study a cantilever beam. i am a new user to ansys but not to FEA
i am trying to apply a constant amplitude load with a zero mean load to the tip of the cantilever beam which will
cause the beam to oscillate in a sinusoidal fashion. Basically R=-1 (fmin/fmax )
I am assuming a harmonic analysis. When i go to apply the load i see i can set it at constant, but how to i make the load to move in compressive
and tensile manner in order to cause this type of oscillation.
Can you suggest anything or point me to an example which will give me a starting point. im really lost
regards
Vincent
