Hi all,

I have a simple issue (or maybe not). I have a 3m long I beam sitting on the floor which will undergo push and pull force with respect to the floor. All I want to do is to not create a floor and instead constrain the I beam in the negative z direction. for this if I use a constraint where I put dof 3 as -.00000001 (almost equal to zero) would that mean its not moving in z direction but able to move in +ve z direction.

Negative z direction means going inside the floor.

Kind regards
