If I remember correctly, cathedrals are/were never meant to be "finished". The dubai photos have that chilling fascination quality that disasters tend to bring out. I too am glad there were no casualties.

Hmm, that huge cathedral picture has blown my browser so I can't see all of PDE's text.

I visited that Cathedral a few years ago. They are still working on it… Oh and the picture messed up my view as well…
