Construction sequence load

I have a multi-storey frame and my senior asked to apply construction sequence loads on it, is there any reference for this case or any help to figure out how to calculate these loads.

It doesn't get much airplay. But, then again, it's not all that complicated. CSI has some decent stuff here and in the child links.

ASCE 37-14 is a good companion resource as well although I don't believe that it specifically addresses sequencing issues directly.

I like to debate structural engineering theory -- a lot. If I challenge you on something, know that I'm doing so because I respect your opinion enough to either change it or adopt it.

As a minimum, 20 psf is what we usually apply to account for construction loads but that could increase significantly if concrete buggies are used or if there are specific or unusual conditions that will arise during construction. Talk to your contractor to see what is plan or sequence is, get an idea of the equipment used, etc.

OK, BUT i want to know if the second floor slab weight and the upper girder weight will be transmitted through forms' support to the supporting element in this case the first floor slab and frame.
