Construction Type Code for Fire Flow

I am working on a navy potable water system modeling project. I need to find the fire flow for each facility. The design standard for the fire flow being used is Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC). To find the fire flow I need to know what type of construction each facility is. The types of construction provided by Navy consists of P, S, T and R. I don't know how to match those with the UFC construction types which are comprised of Construction Type I, II, III, IV and V. Does anybody have any clues on that? Thanks.

I don't know the answer to your specific question, never having worked with the Code you cite. If it is like civilian codes, your problem may be that you are confusing construction type with structure use. In civilian codes, the required fire flow depends on both the type of construction ( e.g wood, steel, concrete, etc. ) and the use of the building (e.g. storage, storage of flammable materials, office space, fabrication shop, barracks, assembly areas, theaters, gymnasia, etc., etc.).

Suggest you look up, in the code, the definitions of I, I, III, IV, and P, S, T and R. These terms mean nothing to outsiders like me.
