contact analysis in abaqus

Hi

I am doing a contact analysis in abaqus im trying to model a truck moving across a bridge deck, I have simplified my model down to very basic parts but still cant get it to work,
im trying to model a dynamic contact analysis in explicit but when i make geometry changes to the part it effects the contact, the gravity load and the interaction should keep the truck in contact with the deck but it does not, the geometry change I made was to partition the bridge deck
