I have a question about a contact between a 3D beam and a shell. The beam is subjected to a line load. The soft contact (linear method) is used. How do I choose the contact stiffness? I have already tried from 1 to 1000. If the contact stiffness was larger than 950, it would not converge. But the penetration can still be found. Could you please give me any hint? Thanks
