I have a problem with FEM statc analysis. I've used a 2-D FEM mesh for sheet metal, but I can't use contact constraint now, because it can be only used between two solids (CATIA V5 R10). What kind of contacts are the best alternative (or is there any way around it?). Thank you.

Here is something I found in the Online Docs:

Contact: Contact Connection Property, User-Defined Distant Connection Property (if you select Contact as Start or End option).
Can be generated only on a geometry belonging to a 3D body.
