I am having a contact problem with Abaqus CAE. My plan is to calculate the Hertzian pressure between a bearing and another component. I must apply a force on a surfece of the bearing and it should move in the direction of the force. i applies a kinematic coupling and the force on its reference node. Contact does not seem to work. Would anybody be so kind and try to figure it out?
