That's a fast moving field. Most of the Navy and even ASCE guides are out of date for active ports. I use various shipping and trade magazines to keep up to date. There are specialty firms that like to brag with company brochures that are surprising helpful in about finding out about state of the art stuff (try Moffatt & Nichol, ask for Dick Chan).

i am sorry maybe i wasn't very specific, i want to know how the yard is designed . Concrete slabs above compacted sand or maybe gravel for ex
do the the slabs have limited dimensions such as 5 m*3 m or bigger dimensions . How do they construct the surface/subsurface drainage etc
