Continue simulation in new system

Hi

Is it possible to continue a simulation in a new system. I know you can do sub-modelling, but what I "simply" want to achieve is instead of having say four load steps in one simulation, I want the first two in one system and the last two in a second system. I have several simulations that have identical first load steps, and being able to simply link the result of the first load steps to other systems and continue the simulation with different setups could safe significant time.

Too bad there isn't a more simple way, where you don't have to read in the results from the previous load steps. I would really like the ability to add load cases later on, so I guess this is not a viable solution in my case.

The text in the first link says: "This is the most accurate method for starting an analysis form a previously solved point.". Does this mean, that there are other options?

One method could be to somehow map deformation/stress results from previous analysis to new simulation.
I don't know how this is done in Workbench but I doubt it will be any less work than the restart method.
