Other than an owner's specifications, such as a State Department of Transportation, are there any other governing specifications that dictate what is required to be included in a set of Contract Plans. Such as AASHTO, FHWA, etc..

I am interested in those specifications which primarily deal with Contract Plans for highway and bridge construction projects, that have to do with what actually is required to be in the plans themselves, ie: section properties, alignment, framing plan, camber diagrams, etc...

AASHTO has, in several locations, what must be in and/or on the plans and specifications. There is information upfront and also in Division II "Construction". Much to our dismay, there is no all-inclusive list.
