In standard MEMA MG 1-2011 Section IV Part 32 the title shows the following:
"Synchronous Generators (Exclusive of Generators Cover By ANSI Standards C50.12, C50.13, C50.14, and C50.15 Above 5000 kVARatings".
Then in the scope section establishes that this part 32 covers synchronous generators of ratings covered in table 32.1. That table starts at 1.25 kVA all the way to 75 MVA.
I am reading a contradiction. The title says that this part is for generators 5,000 kva (5 MVA) or greater and the scope shows that this part (32) applies for generators starting at 1.25 kVA.
I am reading this wrongly? If so, Why?
