Hi, I need to control a torque limiter from measuring strain gauges. Do I need to programme a PLC, or are there easier ways??

cheers, gareth

What kind of control interface does the torque limiter have?
Can you find a PLC with strain gauge inputs?
I imagine you could do an analog amp circuit with the strain gauge as inputs and the torque limiter on the output side? PLC sounds like a much better idea! Jay Maechtlen
