I am designing one tool, that will make several different parts. There will be one die set (or die base), and 16 different variations of tooling inside that one tool. I need/want to control arrangements at the top or higher level. for instance...see below. I design the parts in FEATURE01 with say 16 different arrangements. Lets say I name the arrangement's A1, A2, A3...etc. I then do the same for FEATURE02 with 16 arrangements. So now I have two subassemblys with 16 or more arrangements. This part was easy enough. But now I want to control these arrangements in these subassemblies at a higher level (station01). I want to be able to call up an arrangement at the station01 level, that will call up certain arrangement's in its sub-assemblies (FEATURE01 FEATURE02). I then want to do the same at the masterpart level. The way I am designing this tool is at the FEATURE level first, I then create my arrangements as I go. So do I then have to re-create ALL the arrangements at the higher level in order to get the action I want? I am new to arrangements, so any help will be greatly appreciated.
