Hello Friends;

How can I calculate the force that the flow control valve will produce? At the same time, how can I determine the actuator I need to put on it? For example, there is 14500 N valve force, how can I determine the dimensions of the actuator's casings? How can I calculate the effective diaphragm area? How can I calculate the required spring force?

Where did that number come from? Looks very big.

Do you have a drawing of the valve?

Bu sayı nereden çıktı? Çok büyük görünüyor.

Vananın çizimi var mı?

I made it according to the calculation on this site. I'm talking about an 8” C600 valve. Unfortunately I can't share the drawing

That's a pretty big control valve alright.

What type of control valve and trim size?

But you seem to have sized the force, so what is the question exactly?

Bu gerçekten çok büyük bir kontrol vanası.

Kontrol vanası tipi ve trim ölçüsü nedir?

Ama siz gücü ölçmüş gibi görünüyorsunuz, peki soru tam olarak nedir?
a single stage, cavitation controlled, flow control valve with 8” balanced trim.

I am not sure if the calculation is correct or not, but the Fisher catalogs show more or less similar values. As the valve gets bigger, the force required will naturally increase, but at what rate will I increase my actuator?
