Controls Question

If a building has a controls system which ties multiple thermostats to a single air handler (Trane Tracker).

The room setpoints for Heating is set to 68, all of the room temperatures are below 68 as reported by the Trane Tracker system, BUT the system is calling for cooling. Is this simply a controls issue or could it be something else.

Sounds like a control set point or calibration issue in the multiplex controller

That's a good question for a Trane rep. If it's anything like the Vari-trac system, there are different ways it could be set up, relating to number of voting zones, or just based on one zone requiring heat, etc.
