Hi all,
I'm trying to get the j-integral of a crack at a material interface. I have a stiff linear elastic material on the one side and a hyperelastic material on the other side. I model a seam crack at the interface of these materials so I can calculate the j-integral. It works very fine if I use a linear elastic materials on both sides and toggle off nlgeom. But with nlgeom on it doesn't converge. The problem is that I have to toggle on nlgeom if I want to use a hyperelastic material model.
Does anybody know why nlgeom is causing Problems in this case?
Thanks in advance
