I remember that Airbus have a conversion chart between there fasteners/nuts/washers etc and NAS/MS spec types, though it worked on a heirachial basis, where sometimes you could go from Airbus spec to a NAS spec but not vice-versa. Boeing have their specs online at myboeingfleet.com and i think thay have a what your looking for. If not try sites such as IHS or specsonline and the other usual suspects

What you are looking for is the Boeing D-590 Boeing-to-Vendor list.

raptor3...

With relatively few exceptions, Boeing is superseding all "obsolete" BAC parts with "new-and-improved-BAC parts"... and is likewise substituting [new/active] BAC parts for AN, NAS, AS, MS, etc parts...wherever possible [few exceptions].

What does this mean????

There is/are no such formal list(s) available to the general public. There ARE Boeing proprietary documents for specific military programs that have substitute parts/materials/processes; and there are individuals who make their own "private lists" for special programs [like me - but don't bother asking].

Regards, Wil Taylor

D-590 is a huge document that is Boeing proprietary. If you need to cross a few numbers, post the and I will provide the data.
