Which are the steps to have a P3 3.1 file in a *colour* PDF to share it with others

I am using Adobe Distiller 5.0 and I only get black and white reports

I do the following:
1. Print in P3 selecting "print to file"
2. Open with adobe distiller which converts automatically to PDf (...but in black and white!)

Thanks for the help
Javier

Well, stupid of me, I learned that you have to close P3 and open it again so that P3 recognizes any changes in the default printer... so:
1. Exit p3
2. Select a colour printer
3. Open P3
4. "Print to file"
5. Open Adobe distiller and off you go!!
