Would you please suggest a chemical method for converting silver nitrate and silver bromide into metallic silver?

Thanks and best regards.

Wet method: Ag nitrate in solution - add HCl to convert to AgCl as a percipitate. rinse and place in contact with FE and dilute H2SO4.

AgBr can be treated the same way.

Cl and Br are NOT good to inhale...

Silver will plate out on a copper wire in silver nitrate solution. To get pure silver you should use a power supply to plate the silver onto a silver plate or wire. The other electrode could be copper and will dissolve.
