Hi,
I have a model in ABAQUS in which the thicknesses of the elements were optimized by a programming code. It is a shell mesh, and the CAD model does not have thickness, the model is defined only by a line across its thickness. I have been wondering, is there any way to convert the numerical defined thickness to a physical thickness into the CAD model? I need a physical thickness to simulate it outside ABAQUS, and that's what I want to do.
Thanks in advance,
