Convert to high quality

Our IT guy just pushed out SP 3.0 this week and in plotting drawing I noticed that the option to convert draft to high quality has been grayed out. Has anybody else noticed this, or have they just changed things so that box is only selectable when there are draft quality views in the print?

One change in SP3.0 is ...
"No geometry is printed in views when views are set to Draft while 'Convert draft quality drawing views to high quality ' option is on".

So if I'm reading that line right, when you try and use the convert option, if a view is in draft quality it will not show up in the hard copy that comes out of the printer?
