Converting From A Desktop To A Laptop

I am moving a designer from a desktop to a laptop and I'm not sure about the best way to handle the workspaces that are stored on the desktop. I know the workspaces are stored locally. Can I just copy the workspaces from one machine to the other without causing any problems with Intralink? Does anyone have any experience with this?

I think that there is an option to export & import the workspace - at least there is on PDMlink.
