TL line capacitance is given in "uS/km". I need to convert this to "mohm.m" in Digsilent software. The line is 200 uS/km so I convert it as 1/200 Mohm/1000 = 0.000005 Mohm.M. This does not make sense.

Can you please help me with the conversion?

S (siemens) is the same thing as mho and is a measure of conductance, not capacitance. It could be the inverse of capacitive reactance.

If 1/Xc = 200 µS/km, then Xc = 5*10^6 ohm·m or 5 Mohm·m

Dear Mr. sky2020
@jghrist
1. If 1/Xc = 200 µS/km, I arrived it as you had mentioned " 1/200 MOhm/1000 = 0.000005 MOhm.m ..." = 5 Ohm.m
2. If 1/Xc = 5 Ohm.m , then Xc = 0.2 Ohm.m
Some thing is wrong, some where? Help!

Xc = 1/(200µS/km)
1/200=0.005
1/µS=10^6/S
1/S=ohm
km=m*10^3
Xc=.005*10^6*10^3 ohm·m = 5*10^6 ohm·m = 5 Mohm·m

200 µS is a tiny conductance value, or a huge resistance value. jghrist answer is right.
