I have a load of almost 15 kg.
Both the pulley diameter = 0.6m.
Distance between the center of both the pulley is 0.8m

i will use a HTD belt for this system.

Can anyone help me find the torque required for the motor?

Recommended for you

1. F=uxN.

N=15x9.81 N.
u=you need to calculate/select etc.

2. T=Fxd

d=diameter of pulley/2 = 0.4 m.

3. Substituting 1 into 2, and rearranging yields:

T=15x9.81xux0.4 Nm.

Torque also equals mass moment of inertia x angular acceleration.

Not gonna get many good answers without a better explanation of what you are trying to accomplish.

Can you be more specific about what you mean by "a load of almost 15kg"? From the sketch provided it appears there are a number of similar components attached to the belt at equal intervals, but there is no description provided of the component's other mass properties, the inertia of the pulleys or belt, or the performance required from the system. Without these details it is not possible to size the motor.
