Hello,

In our Machining Dept. we use a water soluble coolant ( cutting fluid ). We would like to reduce the cost of disposal of the used coolant by removing the water content which is approx. 94%. Does anyone know if there is a separator available which can remove the water clean enough to put in the drain.

Thank you

There may be a mole sieve or charcol bed that could work. You could also do distillation. You might state what the material is so a larger audiance can help you.

Is your water soluble coolant Trim?Sol, Blaso?Cut, Cimcool or something similar? If it is then an ultrafilter will be capable of reducing the water content of the waste coolant.
