Cooling lubricant/emulsion treatment for the metal processing industry

Hello,

In oeder to improve economics and enviromental aspects of a/m subject,

does a continuous treatment exists so there is no down time of the metal processing machine?

What are the main features of such a system? a process flow diagram or block diagram can be helpful.

Is this coolant for cutting operations?
I have seen many centralized systems, all machines drain back to one tank.
This tank will have excess capacity and provide a buffer for the system.
There the fluid has oil separated, it is filtered (settling, screen, coarse filter, fine filter), and it is cooled.
In some cases I have seen that a small flow is bled off and it is made up with fresh addition.
In other cases they drain some fraction (10-25% depending on application) of the system each week and make it up with fresh fluid.
At the minimum the concentration needs to be monitored so that the mix can be kept correct.
I have seen this with mills, lathes, saws, hones, cold drawing.
You can combine whatever machines are using the same fluid.
