I have a start part (assembly) with a coordinate system for placing parts that has somehow flipped its Z coordinate system. It's dimensional value is still positive, but it appears to have "flipped". I checked an older version and it has the same postitive value, but is on the correct side?

When I tried to edit it's definition, I get a menu with a checkbox to edit it's references or its attributes.

Now what?

Thanks
Todd

Todd,

References: you can define your CS by choosing 3 planes, 2 axis and so on and so on. If the CS was created after the 3 default planes you can only use these 3 planes to recreate the CS.

Attributes: you can change the orientation axis of your CS.

Practice this: create a part and only puit the three default datum. No CS. Then add a CS using these 3 planes. Then redifine it and choose attributes. You will see how easy is to modify the X,Y and Z directions.
