I am using UG NX-5.Is it possible to copy one sketch from one plane to other? If yes, what is the solution for that.I am not asking about the reatach option.Suppose i want that sketch in Front plane and in One inclined plane if possible with all the constaints.

Thanks in Advance

Straightforward enough Rock,

Use the Edit > Copy function

Then Edit > Paste

Set the expression transfer modes and select the external references. To make my life easier, I try to avoid making contraints external to the sketch where possible (I use a Datum CSYS to constain to) this makes the selection process far simpler.

Another option to consider when copying and pasting sketches is to use a fixed constraint and positioning dimensions (NOT Sketch Dimensions) to locate the initial sketch position. Then when you paste the sketch all you need to to is select the placement face and the horizontal reference. Then the positioning dimensions dialog displays so you can position the sketch. This way you have fewer external references to satisfy.
