I am looking for a replacement material for UNS C63230 grade copper alloy. From the info I have found, this is a cancelled spec. What would a comparable current specification be?

Material composition as follows:
Manganese 0.07%
Silicon 0.10%
Tin 0.03%
Lead <0.01%
Copper 81.6%
Zinc 0.27%
Nickel plus cobalt 4.72%
Iron 4.41%
Aluminum 8.77%

Thanks,

TVP,
Thanks! What effect would the higher Mn content have, if any?
Phil

What would be the difference in the characteristics between C63230 and C63280 due to the higher Mn content and the lack of Sn, Zn, and Si?

Hardness, corrosion properties, etc., etc.

Thanks,
Phil
