copper crush washer specification number: ???

Can somebody point me to specs that govern the copper crush washers that are used in automotive braking/hydraulic systems?

OK maybe I should ask if anybody know if copper crush washer are governed by some organization.

The great thing about standards is that there are so many to choose from.

SAE, JIS, DIN, ISO, EN, BS...

Parker and AdaptAll web sites together offer a comprehensive resource to identify what you are looking at and the governing standard.

A few google searches and looking through the offerings on Mcmaster shows DIN 7603 for metric copper/aluminum crush washers and AS3112 for an SAE spec. I don't have a copy of the SAE spec so I'm just going by the title which says "Sealing Washers" but not what type.
